Okinoshima Culture center　[Top 5 Entry]

This project aims to preserve and inherit the natural beauty and culture of Oki Island, creating a space where the island's symbolic mountains and sea are interconnected. The triangular large roof design harmonizes with the island's landscape, while also establishing a unique presence. The roof not only integrates with the surrounding town and nature, but also provides visitors with an immersive experience that showcases the beauty of Oki Island.

The first floor will be used for commercial facilities, with a long, low eave facing the Taisha Sub-Inn street, generating energy and contributing to the revitalization of the area. The north-south connection ensures an open, flexible space that connects with the town, making the environment accessible and inviting for passersby.

Additionally, by using local materials such as Oki wood and incorporating craftsmanship from local artisans, the design highlights the island's unique character. The roof design, with its varying functions such as connecting to the sea and the sky, offers diverse experiences while maintaining a sense of unity throughout the building.

本計画は隠岐の島の自然と文化を継承し、島の象徴的な山々や海をつなげる空間の創出を目指しています。三角形の大屋根のデザインは、島の風景と調和しながらも、独自の存在感を放ちます。この屋根は周囲の町並みや自然と一体感を持ち、訪れる人々に隠岐の島の美しさを実感させる空間を提供します。 1階は商業施設として活用し、大社分院通りに向けて低く長い軒を設けることで、地域の賑わいを生み出し活性化に貢献します。南北に貫通する動線により、まちに開かれた自由で柔軟な空間を作り出し、通行者に親しみやすい環境を提供します。 また、隠岐の木材や地元の職人技を積極的に取り入れることで、隠岐の島らしさを引き立てます。海へ向かって広がる屋根、空へ抜ける屋根など、場所ごとに異なる機能を持たせることで、建物全体が一体感を保ちながらも、異なる視点や体験を提供します。

이 계획은 오키 섬의 자연과 문화를 이어받아 섬의 상징적인 산과 바다가 연결된 공간을 창출하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 삼각형의 대형 지붕 디자인은 섬의 풍경과 조화를 이루면서도 독특한 존재감을 제공합니다. 이 지붕은 주변 마을과 자연과의 일체감을 형성하며, 방문객들에게 오키 섬의 아름다움을 직접 느낄 수 있는 공간을 제공합니다. 1층은 상업시설로 활용되며, 대사 분원 거리를 향해 낮고 긴 처마를 설계하여 지역의 활기를 불러일으키고 지역 활성화에 기여합니다. 남북으로 이어지는 동선은 마을과 개방된 자유로운 공간을 만들어 지나가는 사람들에게 친숙한 환경을 제공합니다. 또한, 오키 섬의 나무와 지역 장인들의 기술을 적극적으로 사용하여 섬의 독특한 특성을 강조합니다. 바다로 향하는 지붕, 하늘로 열리는 지붕 등 장소별로 다양한 기능을 부여하여 건물 전체가 일체감을 유지하면서도 다양한 시각과 경험을 제공합니다.
