Scape Laboratory は、自然・人間・モノのあいだに生まれる関係性を通して、「生きた風景＝Scape」を創造する建築・デザインスタジオです。建築を完成された形ではなく、環境・素材・生命をつなぐ媒体として捉え、秩序と不完全のあいだに潜む静かな美を探求します。​ 

원랩은 건축과 풍경, 도시와 자연, 사람과 환경의 관계를 실험하는 디자인 연구실입니다.
우리는 형태를 만드는 대신 관계를 설계하며, 공간을 짓는 대신 경험을 만들어냅니다.

Vision and Philosophy

For Scape Laboratory, “scape” is not a background, but a relationship—a field where nature, humans, and artifacts coexist and interact. Through material, light, and time, we aim to design spaces that breathe like nature and evolve with their surroundings.

ウォンラボにとって “Scape” は背景ではなく、 自然・人間・モノが共存し、関係を結ぶ場 です。 素材と光、時間を通して、自然のように呼吸する空間を目指します。

​원랩에게 “스케이프(Scape)”란 단순한 풍경이 아니라, 자연과 인간, 사물이 공존하고 관계 맺는 장(field) 입니다. 재료와 빛, 시간의 층위를 통해 자연처럼 숨 쉬는 공간을 만들어갑니다.

Nature : The Origin of Materiality

We begin from the essence of natural materials — their texture, imperfection, and aging — and reinterpret them through contemporary design.
自然 :素材の起源 / 素材の質感や不完全さ、経年変化を現代のデザインとして再構築する。
자연 :재료의 근원 / 재료의 질감, 불완전함, 시간성을 현대적 디자인으로 재해석한다.

Relation : Between Humans and Space

Architecture is not an object, but a medium of relationships — between people, and between humans and the environment.
関係 :人と空間のあいだ / 建築はモノではなく、人と環境の関係を生む媒体である。
관계:인간과 공간 사이 / 건축은 대상이 아니라 관계를 만들어내는 매개체이다.

We design spaces that grow and age gracefully, carrying traces of time and memory as part of their beauty.
