In this project, we boldly incorporated Japan’s first kusabi scaffolding into the interior design, achieving a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Leveraging the affordable yet highly versatile nature of the scaffolding, we transcended its conventional role as temporary material, transforming it into a design element that functions as shelves, counters, hooks, and hangers, adapting to a variety of uses. By embracing the rugged charm and functional possibilities of this material, we meticulously worked with the client, carefully considering its placement and scale to ensure the best possible outcome.​

The design aims to harness the industrial beauty and flexible utility of kusabi scaffolding to bring a fresh narrative to the space. Through close collaboration with the client, who has a deep understanding of design, and our own creative challenges, we transformed what was once a temporary construction material into an iconic element of the space, offering new value and an innovative spatial experience.​

このプロジェクトでは、日本初となる楔（くさび）式足場を室内デザインに大胆に取り入れ、機能性と美しさのバランスを実現しました。手頃な価格でありながら高い汎用性を持つこの足場を、一時的な建築資材という枠を超えてデザイン要素として活用し、棚やカウンター、フック、ハンガーなど多様な用途に適応させました。その無骨な魅力と機能性を最大限に活かすため、クライアントと綿密に協議を重ね、配置やスケールを慎重に検討しながら最適な形を追求しました。

デザインの狙いは、楔式足場が持つインダストリアルな美しさと柔軟な実用性を引き出し、空間に新たな物語を生み出すことにあります。デザインに精通したクライアントとの緊密な協力のもと、私たち自身の創造的な挑戦を重ねることで、仮設資材だったものを空間の象徴的な要素へと昇華させ、新たな価値と革新的な空間体験を提供しました。

이 프로젝트에서는 일본 최초로 쐐기형 비계를 실내 디자인에 과감하게 도입하여 기능성과 미적 균형을 이루었습니다. 경제적이면서도 높은 활용성을 지닌 이 비계를 단순한 임시 자재로 사용하는 것을 넘어, 선반, 카운터, 후크, 행어 등 다양한 용도로 활용할 수 있는 디자인 요소로 변형하였습니다. 이 자재의 거친 매력과 기능성을 극대화하기 위해 클라이언트와 긴밀히 협력하며 배치와 스케일을 신중하게 조정하여 최적의 결과를 도출하였습니다.

디자인의 목표는 쐐기형 비계가 지닌 산업적 미학과 유연한 실용성을 공간에 녹여 새로운 서사를 창출하는 것입니다. 디자인에 대한 깊은 이해를 가진 클라이언트와의 긴밀한 협력 속에서 우리의 창의적인 도전을 더해, 기존의 임시 건축 자재였던 비계를 공간의 상징적인 요소로 승화시켜 새로운 가치와 혁신적인 공간 경험을 제공하였습니다.
